A universal disc-detainer cylinder lock-and-key set can help keep your trailer locks, storage locks, and other cargo-door locks safe and secure. Our cylinder lockset device is designed to guard your Proven Industries locks from lock pickers and other would-be thieves.

Each tough locking cylinder in the set features pick- and bump-resistant technology, with disc-detainer locks that use inner rotating discs as the locking components. The included disc-detainer lock cylinder keys have angled cuts that rotate those discs. Washers are placed between the discs in the lock to ensure that each one turns individually by the cuts on the keys. When the discs are properly rotated, a sidebar will fall into a gate on the discs, allowing the key to turn further on the locking bolt to lock or unlock your lock.

The cylinders are keyed alike, enabling you to use one key for multiple locks. Each cylinder comes with 2 keys. These cylinders can be used to replace older cylinders on any Proven Industries puck locks, trailer locks, or storage-door locks, helping you protect your possessions and work equipment with these heavy-duty cylinder lock-and-key sets.

To replace your old Proven Industries cylinder with a new one, use an Allen key to loosen the set screw attached to the trailer or puck lock. Take out the cylinder sleeve and push the deadbolt on the sleeve down to remove the old cylinder. Insert the new cylinder into the cylinder sleeve while pushing down on the deadbolt. Use the new keys to lock and unlock your cylinder as needed for additional trailer security.
