Compatibility and Installation

Before installing the Leisure Locks RV Lock, it's essential to measure the existing opening to ensure a proper fit. The recommended cutout size is 2-3/4" x 3-3/4" x 1-1/2". To begin, carefully remove the old lock by unscrewing the four screws from the back of the handle, as well as the two side screws and plate.

Next, place the Leisure Locks RV Lock into the front-facing opening of the door. Attach the new striker plate and the two shorter screws to the front edge of the door. Align and connect the back portion of the lock to the front portion of the handle. Gently hand-tighten the screws, being careful not to over-tighten them.

Finally, close the door and test the function to complete the installation of your new Leisure Locks RV Lock.
