The TowWorks 79830 keyed alike 5/8" trailer hitch lock with an extra-long 4-1/2" span is designed to fit most adjustable hitches. The extra-long locking pin, with a 5/8" diameter and a maximum active length of 4-1/2", is suitable for CURT channel-style adjustable hitches 45900, 45901, 45902, as well as adjustable pintle hooks 45907 and 45908. *Please note that this lock does not fit FASTWAY adjustable hitches.

A separate spring clip (cotter pin) provides double safety. Caution: The spring clip (cotter pin) MUST be used when utilizing this lock. Rubber O-Rings help keep the pin in place and reduce rattling. Crafted from one-piece solid hardened steel using CNC lathe processing, this lock can support towing up to 20,000 lbs GTW and features a black e-coated, zinc-plated finish.

The spring clip (cotter pin) offers additional convenience, allowing for quick changes of hitches without the need to use the lock. In case the lock mechanism fails, the spring clip (cotter pin) still provides safety. The rubber O-Rings, consisting of 6 pieces measuring 7/8" x 1/8" and 2 pieces measuring 25/32" x 3/32", help accommodate different hitch tube and channel sizes. Adjusting the O-Ring quantity or removing them may be necessary for a proper fit.

The push-lock design, operated with a 1/4 turn and push, comes with 2 tubular keys for easy locking and unlocking. A watertight dust rubber cap helps prevent internal corrosion of the locking mechanism.
